The current version: 1.3.3
Date of publication: 10-11-2011 r.
Author: Krzysztof Furtak
Description: Plugin shows/indicates progress bar that has been made on projects or articles.
Demo: on this website

The new version of kk progress bar plugin is available here:

kk progress bar

Installation KK Progress Bar:

  1. Unpack files from the patch you have purchased.
  2. Copy folder ‘kkprogressbar’ to a folder on your own server. To do it you might want to use programs meant for establishing connection with FTP server (personally, I would recommend FileZilla program. You can find guide on how to use it here). All the data needed for establishing connection with FTP server should go together with a purchased server.
  3. Next, log in to the administrative panel of your blog.
  4. Go to the tab called ‘Plugins’.
  5. Find plug-in called ‘KK Progress bar’ and click on ‘Activate’
  6. On the left hand side, ‘KK Progress bar’ tab should appear. From that tab, you can manage your plug-in.

You can buy this plugin here:

Description:

Plugin kk progress bar shows/indicates progress that has been made on projects or articles.

Tag can be inserted in a random place on web pages or in articles. Tag has to hold one attribute: * „IDKKPB” is a mandatory one. The ID of progress bar needs to be provided (example: `idkkpb = „3″`) Correct tag should be as following: kkprogress bar idkkpb=”xx”

  1. I just downloaded the free version of it and I can’t change the percentage. There is no slider to change the percentage so basically the free version is rather useless. Does everything work if I choose to upgrade to premium?

  3. Hello,
I am interested in purchasing the plugin, but the demo isn’t fully functional (I can’t change any of the percentages, as if the functionality is disabled). I need to know if there is a compatibility problem with my theme, or if the demo is intentionally disabled. Thank you

  4. Hi,
On my band’s website the plugin does not work correctly. Actually no countdown timer is displayed at the place that I put the shortcode. It works only as a widget.

  5. I am afraid that I have to inform you that this plugin only works fine while using official versions of it. Whereas, version RC2 is not one of them. But if you still need my help with RC2 version, you will have to provide me with error messages. Then I am willing to help ;-)

    Regards,
    Krzysiek.

    • I am not sure if I exactly understand what you have in mind. Judging by links you have sent me, I am guessing that what you need is a progress bar which would show not only at which point a project/task is but also how much is left to have it completed. Please correct me if I am wrong.
In case if this is an update that you need then, yes, it will be included in the future release. I will keep you posted on when it will happen.

      Kind regards,
      Krzysiek.

  6. Hi i really like your plugin.
If you want i could translate it to german after it has been translated to english.
One thing is till bugging me and thats the missing part of making more then one bar for one projekt. so instead of making 6 projekts to have 6 bars for
    Translation
    Timing
    Typeset
    Quality Check
    Upload
    Release

i would like to have the posibility to have the option to add more then one bar with a different status for each bar for a project. If you can understand what i mean ^^”

    • I apologize for a late response.
Full English translation of plugin has been published as version 1.3.0 (premium version). Your idea regarding plugin functionality is very interesting and I will surely implement it while creating further versions of plugin.

      Thank you for showing interest

  7. I am really liking the progress bar plugin except for one hitch. I can’t edit a project after posting it. The edit button will not respond. The only way to update progress is to delete the project and create a new one. I trust that is not how it was designed, so this must be a bug right?

  8. I quite like the idea of your plugin, but am a bit hampered as well by the lack of an internationalization. Also, is there a possibility to add something like a „total” number and „currently completed” number and having the bar calculate itself? Or similar, user added parameters?

    • When it comes to the aspect of internationalization, plugin will be updated by the end of September.

Also, is there a possibility to add something like a ?total? number and ?currently completed? number and having the bar calculate itself? Or similar, user added parameters?

With regards to the above, yes it is possible and I will try to include it and later versions of my plugin.
      Thanks for sharing your ideas!
